ZADE Owns the Mic in the Lyrical Battle for the 3rd Week of Hennessy VS Class V. - @hennessynigeria

Last Thursday, we experienced another spectacle in the Nigerian Hip-Hop scene with week 3 of the preliminary round of Hennessy VS Class V, as Vector, Douglas Jekan, Jimmie alongside guest judge for the week, Terry Da Rapman continued their search for the dopest Emcees in the game.

Zade, who took the crown for himself battled his way on a roller coaster ride to the final round, and his ruthlessness was enough to see him join the finalists of Hennessy VS Class V.

The week's radio show on The Beat 99.9 FM had eight emcees: Zade, Reespect, Oj, Davidecee, Kiid Pro, Kmoney, Jabba Jaw and Major Heyjay who began with a 40 second freestyle, and moved on to a 2-part faceoff.

Reespect brought her A-game being the only female emcee competing in week 3. She displayed lyrical strength by emerging the group winner for Group A, with Zade narrowly making it through after a one on one battle with OJ.
Jabba Jaw was the most controversial emcee of the night as he was checked initially for exceeding his 40 second limit in the group round. Unfortunately his journey was cut short after he was found guilty of biting off another rappers lines, which led to him being disqualified from Group B.
Reespect got knocked out in the semis by Major AJ in a battle well fought, while Zade was in beast mode in his semi final battle with Kiid Pro.
For the final round, it was a battle between the finest emcees on the night as Major AJ took on Zade and at the end of the two-hour, show there was only one clear winner: ZADE.

The #HennessyVSClass2018 Radio Show returns this week with a fresh set of rappers who all want the top spot. The guest judge for this week is YCEE. Tune in Thursday, September 20th at 10PM on The Beat 99.9 FM
